Job Description

Join Accessible Career Aid’s mission to empower individuals through financial literacy and professional education guidance. This spring internship provides an exciting opportunity to work with a passionate team and make a meaningful impact through financial research. As a Financial Research Intern, you will play a vital role in collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing financial data to create resources that help individuals understand financial markets, trends, and their implications.

During the three-week program, you’ll gain practical experience in financial research, data analysis, and report writing. This internship will provide valuable insight into the financial sector and nonprofit operations, offering you the opportunity to sharpen your research and analytical skills.

We are looking for individuals with a strong interest in finance, economic trends, and data-driven decision-making.

Role Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on financial markets, trends, and economic developments

  • Synthesize and analyze financial data to provide actionable insights

  • Write detailed reports and summaries on key financial topics for internal use and publication

  • Contribute to the creation of educational resources such as guides and reports for our audience

  • Collaborate with the team to identify new research opportunities and improve data analysis methods

  • Assist in organizing and maintaining a centralized database of research findings

  • Participate in team meetings to discuss research progress, findings, and strategies

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program

  • Strong interest in financial markets, economic trends, and data analysis

  • Exceptional research, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to synthesize complex data and communicate findings clearly

  • Proactive, organized, and able to work independently

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

  • Familiarity with financial analysis tools or data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Excel, etc.) is a plus but not required
