Job Description
Join Accessible Career Aid’s mission to promote financial literacy and provide professional education guidance through insightful journalism. As a Financial Journalism Intern, you will have the opportunity to research and write about key financial news, market trends, and economic developments. This internship will equip you with valuable skills in financial reporting and provide you with real-world experience in a nonprofit setting.
You will work closely with our team to deliver financial news articles and reports that simplify complex financial topics. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your writing skills, stay informed on global economic trends, and make an impact in financial education.
Job Responsibilities
Research, write, and edit articles on current financial news, market trends, and economic developments
Provide concise summaries and analyses of financial reports, news stories, and emerging market trends
Conduct interviews with industry professionals or thought leaders for features and profile pieces
Collaborate with other interns to ensure content is aligned with educational goals and audience needs
Help maintain and update our content calendar, ensuring timely publication of articles
Assist in proofreading and editing content to ensure accuracy and clarity
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program
Strong interest in financial markets, economic trends, and financial journalism
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to synthesize complex information into accessible and engaging content
Strong attention to detail and editorial skills
Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
Experience with financial journalism or writing is a plus but not required
